Draft — pending legal review
This is a working draft of Rivaly’s Terms of Use, written to describe the product as it actually functions today. It has not been reviewed by counsel and is not yet a final, binding legal document.
1. Current status
Rivaly is currently in beta, running on Solana devnet. No real cryptocurrency or money changes hands through the product today. These Terms will be revisited and updated before any real-money or mainnet launch.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Rivaly, and old enough to legally participate in prediction markets or games of skill where you live. Rivaly is not offered where prohibited by local law.
3. What Rivaly is
Rivaly lets users create and join peer-to-peer prediction rooms on real football matches. Outcomes are settled by TrustFlow™ against independent match-result data (via TXODDS/TxLINE), not by Rivaly's discretion. Rivaly is not a bookmaker and does not set odds — pool sizes are determined entirely by participants.
4. Stakes, pools, and fees
Stakes placed in a room are pooled and paid out to the winning side once a match is verified, minus a 2% platform fee taken only from the losing side's pool. If a room locks without an opposing side ever staking, all stakes are refunded in full and no fee applies.
5. Settlement and disputes
Settlement is automatic and based on the verified match result. Rivaly does not manually override a TrustFlow-verified outcome. If a match result cannot be verified, the affected room stays open until it can be, rather than settling on an unconfirmed result.
6. User conduct
You agree not to manipulate rooms, collude with other users to guarantee an outcome, use the platform for money laundering or any unlawful purpose, or attempt to interfere with TrustFlow verification or settlement.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
Rivaly is provided "as is" during this beta period. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rivaly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including data feed outages or delays affecting settlement.
8. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated as the product evolves, particularly ahead of any mainnet or real-money launch. Continued use of Rivaly after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
